Becoming a member of Sienna is easy.  You start by calling our pager 502-894-1048 or linking to the Contact Us page.  Please provide us your name, or the name you preferred we called you, followed by a telephone number, the best time reach you, and a short message, if you like.  An outreach committee person will return your call within a day or two.

An outreach coordinator will ask you some questions about your desire to become a part of our club.  Sienna, as well as many other clubs, has found it necessary to screen potential new members.  We do so in an effort to avoid persons with a desire to disrupt our meeting, or promote an agenda contrary to the mission of our group.

Once a member, you may bring someone close to you that is supportive, like an adult family member, spouse, or significant other (S/O).  Please inform the outreach coordinator if you wish to bring someone to a meeting.  It is in the best interest of all members to have peaceful and meaningful meetings.

Sienna receives it support from its membership.  Each member and guest is ask to donate $10 per meeting to cover expenses and fund on going projects.  A member may donate $100 as an annual membership.

Rules:

• Attend group meeting as regularly as possible.

• In any support group, we want what you say, and what others say to remain private within our group.  A member that has been found maligning another member will be expelled from Sienna.

• Contribute to the running of the group.  We desire you use Sienna to educate yourself on transgender issues, express your feeling about your journey, and learn from other members.

• We encourage you to volunteer to serve on a committee, or help with keeping the meeting hall orderly, as a service to others.

• We encourage your financial support.

• Sienna is not to be used as a dating place.  We recognize the need for companionship, however there are better places, websites, and chat rooms better suited for dating.

Membership is $5.00 per month
